Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Glo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Glo. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Service

Glo is a skincare and cosmetics analysis app that helps you make informed decisions about the products you use. The App provides the following features:

• Scan product barcodes and ingredient list photos to receive safety scores, ingredient breakdowns, and personalized skin match scores
• Dual scoring system: an objective safety score based on ingredient analysis, plus a personalized skin match score based on your skin profile
• Face selfie analysis for skin health metrics including hydration, texture, redness, and breakouts
• Automated AM/PM skincare routine building from your scanned products
• Skin health tracking over time through face scan history
• AI-powered skincare Q&A
• Product search with detailed ingredient breakdowns
• Gamification features including challenges, badges, streaks, and milestones

The App requires an active internet connection to function. Offline functionality is not guaranteed.

3. Accounts

An account is required to use the full functionality of Glo. You can sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your authentication credentials secure
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Not create multiple accounts or accounts on behalf of others without permission

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the profile screen within the App. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Glo offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Free users have limited access to the App, including basic scanning with restricted results.
• Premium subscribers unlock full features including complete scan analysis, routines, analytics, and face scanning.

Billing & Renewal

Premium subscriptions are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google — Nooki SRL never collects, accesses, or stores your payment card information.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of your selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android).

Refunds

Nooki SRL does not issue refunds directly. All refund requests must be submitted through Apple or Google, as they are the payment processors. Refund eligibility is determined by their respective policies.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period after the change. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before it renews.

5. User Content

You may upload content to the App, including product photos, face selfies, skin profile information, and other data ("User Content").

Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading content to Glo, you grant Nooki SRL a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, analyze, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services. This includes performing AI-based ingredient analysis, generating scores, building routines, and analyzing face photos for skin metrics.

Processing

Photos and other content are processed server-side and stored in your account. All data transfers are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Deletion

You can delete all your data — including scans, photos, and account information — at any time from the profile screen within the App. When you delete your data, our license to that content terminates.

6. Intellectual Property

The Glo App, including its design, user interface, scoring algorithms, analysis engine, branding, logos, and all original content, is the intellectual property of Nooki SRL and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its analysis engine
• Extract or repurpose any data, scores, or analysis results for commercial use outside the App
• Use the Glo name, logo, or branding without prior written permission from Nooki SRL

Third-party product names, brands, and ingredient data displayed in the App belong to their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.

7. Prohibited Conduct

When using Glo, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or non-relevant content (e.g., photos unrelated to skincare or cosmetics)
• Attempt to manipulate scores, game the system, or abuse any AI-powered features
• Scrape, bot, or use automated means to access the App or its APIs
• Impersonate another person or create fraudulent accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure, servers, or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the App to collect, harvest, or store personal data of other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

8. Disclaimers

Not Medical Advice

Glo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All product scores, ingredient analysis, skin metrics, and recommendations are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only.

Skin analysis results from face selfies are informational and are not a substitute for professional dermatological consultation. If you have a skin condition, allergy, or health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions based on the App's analysis.

AI Accuracy

AI-generated scores, analysis, and recommendations may contain inaccuracies or errors. We strive to provide helpful and accurate information, but we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any analysis provided by the App.

No Warranty

The App and all its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nooki SRL does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Nooki SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
• Nooki SRL is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin issues, or any health problems resulting from following the App's recommendations or analysis.
• Nooki SRL's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services that are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies:

• Apple App Store / Google Play Store (purchases and subscriptions)
• Supabase (backend infrastructure)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Superwall (paywall presentation)
• PostHog (analytics)
• Appsflyer (attribution)
• Intercom (customer support)

Nooki SRL is not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services, and is not liable for any outages, data handling, or changes to their terms. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

11. Termination

By You

You may stop using Glo at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the profile screen within the App. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings to avoid future charges.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, without prior notice or liability, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law — shall continue to apply.

12. Availability & Modifications

We are continuously improving Glo and may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We may also introduce new features that are subject to additional or different terms.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Nooki SRL is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the jurisdiction where Nooki SRL is registered.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify you through the App or by other appropriate means.

Your continued use of Glo after revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
